Hyundai Outdoes Itself with the 2022 Hyundai Tucson in Terrell

Since its launch in the mid-2000s, the Tucson has maintained its status as one of Hyundai's best-selling model. That status is unlikely to change as it enters its 2022 model year, which kicks off the compact crossover's fourth production cycle. Indeed, a lot has changed, and it's changed for the better. The new Hyundai Tucson, long a conservatively designed vehicle, now sports a distinctive cascading headlight design, bold bodywork creases and squared wheel arches for a more striking look. For comfort and convenience, the 2022 Tucson starts off with features such as remote keyless entry, Bluetooth, eight speakers, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, HD Radio and an 8-inch touchscreen interface. The SEL gains features such as proximity keyless entry and Hyundai's Blue Link telematics system. The Limited tops out with exclusive features such as Hyundai Digital Key, which allows you to lock and unlock the doors or start and stop the engine with a smartphone app. You'll also get a Bose Premium Audio System, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a touchscreen, wireless device charging, dual automatic temperature control and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a universal transceiver.

Even at the base SE level, the 2022 Tucson comes with a host of driver aids, which include a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, a forward collision avoidance assist system with pedestrian detection, driver attention warning, lane keeping assist and lane following assist. Safe exit warning, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert and cyclist and junction turning detection on the forward collision avoidance assist system appear on the SEL. For Arlington drivers who want to maximize safety features, there's the Limited, which has a unique ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, remote smart park assist, navigation-based smart cruise control with curve control, highway driving assist, front and rear parking collision assist and surround- and blind-spot view monitors.
